ABOUT ME
I'm Dado Carlin, director of photography for films, television shows, documentaries and advertising
Born in São Paulo, I started working with audiovisual in 1997, when I was 23 years old, in a documentary production company. With this opportunity I had the pleasure of experiencing several sectors. I moved through areas such as editing, production and finalization, until I reached the cameras and finally photography.
It was captivating from the start. I specialized in handheld camera operation, steadicam movement, lighting and when I realized the Photographer had already inhabited me.
An unforgettable moment, acting as director of photography, was at the most important photography direction festival in the world, Comerimage in Poland, where I was selected with the film Matias, produced by Trilha Mídia, in 2014.
I'm still enchanted by my profession after 25 years, and I have the privilege of being able to be spontaneous with my camera, discovering new languages all the time and always being evolving.

In this way, he not only translates the director's ideas into images, but also brings surprising new elements to the film.
